I have had moments of happiness:

Scratching a mosquito bite aged 8 and watching the blood trickle down my leg
The Summer of 1983
Lighting up in the Milling Shed at 1am
Driving through London at speed late at night in a Ford Cortina
The Summer of 1989
The first pint and the I'm-not-quite-sure-how-many pint
Gazing at Sydney Harbour
My first visit to Bordeaux
Hand in hand at the front of the church facing a bank of cameras
Cuddling a new-born baby (3 moments)
A child's welcome when I come home from work
